There are aftermarket mags that look nearly identical to factory with no date code.

I have seen them plain, date code on the floor plate, and early mags (prior to the use of date codes) will have a month/year stamped on the left rear of the mag body.

Heard about Korean unmarked, no personal experience. A side by side comparison pic if a member has both would be cool. If there's differences can be used to spot them that would be good to know.

    Hi,
    Attached are some comparisons,
I am not sure if they are Korean or not.
Also a link from the company I purchased them from. (No affiliation).
In all pics HK parts on the right, aftermarket on the left.
Never had any problems with them, and they seem very well made.
Biggest tell is the black plated follower (and spring) in lieu of the chrome on the HKs.
Great range mags, wish they made them in .45

    To the OPs question my 9mm factory mags are a mix of;

    A) no markings at all,

    B) alphabetic date code on baseplate, unmarked body,

    C) month/year date on body, unmarked baseplate

On the .45, all my mags are either

    A)completely unmarked, or

    B) alpha on the baseplate, unmarked body

    Good info, thanks for posting.

P9S .45 mags, IA, IB, or unmarked. There are no after market .45 mags, and as far as I am aware the only non-OEM P9S mags are the Korean mags in 9mm.

I wonder if they ever sold enough of them to be completely happy with their decision to make them, I can picture SKD (Some Korean Dude) looking at what a P9S mag was selling for back then and thinking it was a great idea.
