    Default Grayguns SRT for p2000sk

Hi, all. I'm looking for an installation write up or video. If anyone has any leads or links it would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

I don’t know 🤔 of any videos of the SRT but you should be able to find videos for LEM in reference library which will get you through the trigger group and light firing pin block spring. Then all you will have to figure is the small pin in the sear that has to be replaced with the longer one.

So I went ahead and attempted the install myself. Everything works fine with the exception of the hammer being loosey goosey after trigger reset (it flops up and down; not under any tension). It still strikes when pulled, but the hammer free-floating doesn't seem normal. Any suggestions on where I went wrong? I installed the extended sear pin behind the clip springs, like you're supposed to. I know there's a cocking spring, but there's only one way to reinstall it, which I did, just as depicted in the owner's manual.

Did you put the pin in your hammer strut? I’m assuming so since I’m not sure how you could reassemble with out doing that

This is the video I followed for installation.

On the p2ksk, there is no pin to hold the hammer strut in place. Instead, the backstrap itself is captive; you just slide it on and pin it to the handle.

I took the backstrap off again to double-check the action of the hammer strut/spring. It all looks correct and goes back together fine.

I realized that the hammer is under no tension when between pulling the first shot and before cycling and staging the reset. Is that normal for this trigger kit? I don't remember that happening before.

Not sure but it sounds like the cocking piece spring. I would suggest watching a LEM conversion video.

Correct: I was able to resolve my issue by cocking the hammer while installing the sear.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any LEM installation videos.
