    Default How to squeeze 15 rounds into a USP9compact . . .

Sorry if this is old news, but just for funsies I took the mag guts out of my new 17 rd VP9 mags, and put it into the 13 rd flush fit USP9c mags. Was able to squeeze in 15 rounds- the mag seats, slide cycles, round chambers. It is tight, and I haven’t had time to test it beyond cycling the slide, but it works. Makes me really hope that HK will take whatever magic they did to the VP9 mags and apply it to the USPc mags!! Factory 15 round flush fit USPc would be AMAZING!

Oh, you should try putting those guts into USPc .40 magazine. It works already for 9mm and adds capacity, 15 rounds.
The optimized follower should be able to push to 16-17 rounds in USPc 9, which would be simply amazing^2.

Since it sounds like the feed lips in the 40 might be different, I wondered if it would work better, even if it meant a few less rounds. I tested the height of the top bullet, and it appears to be exactly the same height as a regular guts 9mm mag. So seams like it would work, and wouldn’t have to bend the feedlips like was done with the 40 mag. . .
