Default P2000sk LEM with decocker exist?

Sorry for an ignorant question, I have never shot the p2000sk but considering it for carry because I'd like something with a hammer for re-holstering. I have never shot the LEM trigger, or the DA/SA to be honest but I figured I would just get the LEM and see what happens. However, since there is a hammer, if I chamber a round I would want to decock but I just read that LEM models don't come with a decocker is that correct or no?

The LEM keeps the hammer down by default. Itís always double action.
I have the same one, and itís the best system for chambered.

I don’t believe it is an available option in the US. It is possible to convert with the correct parts.

I have a p30 and P30sk, both v3 and converted to LEM so I have a LEM trigger and decocker. I like it. Also, when put in the safe I can take tension off hammer spring without pulling the trigger. Ymmv

Have p2000sk and p2000 all V2 LEM’s in 9mm and in .40. Simply fantastic weapons. I carry nothing less anymore. It’s one of those 4 with me every day. The LEM does take getting use to. I found myself shooting low for quite a while after coming from striker guns and DA/SA. Once you “get it”. So reliable and fun to shoot. That thumb over hammer when re-holstering is truly a life (or limb) saver. No decocker at all on the LEM’s.

In Germany, the P2000 looks a bit different than the model we have in the US. The accessory rail is rounded at the end, with to square mounting points, designed for a specific light that was created for adoption with the pistol by German police forces. Also, they offered two variants of LEM, which they call CDA or Combat Defensive Action. One looks and operates just like what we have here in the US. The other, from the outside looks like our DA/SA, with the decocker on the left side of the hammer and the spurred hammer. But internally, it is actually LEM. Doesn't make much sense to have a spurred hammer or a decoker on a CDA (LEM) pistol, but the contract requirements wanted it, so they go it.
I'll cover this in the P2000 series video review, whenever I get around to it.
