    Default Changing P2000 sights

I have replacement sights ordered for my P2000, as well as an aluminum drift (from an older set of Dawson precision sights) and a brass hammer.

Drifting the sights out: left to right? Installing the same direction?

MGW recommends drifting Glock sights out left to right and installing right to left. And some models I think the dovetails are tapered so they only go one way.

Figured I'd ask before possibly ruining a set of Trijicon HDs.

Ive personally never done it but my LGS guys have done it on several of my HK pistols installing Trijicon HD's. I've watched them and they have always gone right to left taking factory sights off and installing new sights on. They've used the same pusher on Glocks too. I'm assuming their pusher is universal.

I've replaced all of the sights on my HK's with Dawson sights. I remove them right to left and install left to right. There's even an arrow on the bottom of the Dawson sights showing which direction to install
