    Default SP5 Optics Suggestions

Hi, so i took my SP5 out to the range for the first time and it feels great. After this range trip, i feel like i need to put a red dot sight on it. I am down to 2 choices, the Aimpoint PRO or Aimpoint Micro T2. Does anyone have experience with either on their SP5? What mount would you recommend for each? Any input or suggestion is appreciated.

I am a huge fan of the Comp M5 on mine so T2 would be my vote, not a fan of the PRO.

I'm in the same situation and debating between the Aimpoint Comp M5 w/BT-10266 or running a Trijicon SRO that replaces the rear sight

I didn't want to touch anything with the original sights incase i ever needed them. I had consider the Comp M5, but wanted to save couple of $$$ with the micro T-2.

put a Aimpoint PRO on either the B&T Universal Rail or HK MLI rail and you will have a beautiful sight pic with dot unobscured by the front sight hood while still getting good cheek weld....the argument over slight weight increase would be stupid for what your need seems to be....thank me later!

Absolutely not....the problem with the kac optic mounts with the kac rail is you have to remove the optic to remove the rail. This obviously has many disadvantages compared to having an optic mount that doesn’t have to be removed for something as simple as cleaning

I didn't like the PRO on my clone. Felt it didn't leave enough room for the charging handle. Can be fixed with technique, but still...
