    Default MP5/40 mounting RDS?

So I'm really wanting to purchase an MP5/40 and one of the items I would want to add is an RDS sight.

The question I have is simple. Given the caliber is 40 (basically 10mm) and what I was wondering is that is the body of the receiver 1mm wider than all the 9mm MP5 pistols?

The only MP5/40 I've seen with RDS belongs to Bystock. It appears that his has the aimpoint M2 mounted on a picatinny rail, that looks to be welded in place or ???

So, does ANYONE who owns an MP5/40, can you measure the outside of the receiver and then I can compare it to my SP5k.

    Thanks in advance

standard mp5 mounts will fit fine but keep in mind that if you are using a clone receiver, tolerances can vary widely on the mounting tabs. LSC is the best clone flat for a 40/10 to be built off and good builders know how to make the mounting tabs bombproof
