    Default Raven Concealment Phantom Holster

I'm thinking about getting a Raven Concealment Phantom holster for my USP Tactical .45. I will probably carry this gun OWB during winter and wear a jacket over it. My question is, for those of who that have this holster, will it hold the gun high enough and close enough so that I can conceal it under a jacket. I know that's subjective based on a persons size, but the holster is supposed to be for concealment, and I just want to know if it is designed properly.

    Thanks
    Skylar

I was disappointed to find that the belt clips did not hold the holster close enough into my side.

I have the IWB clips for my Raven Concealment holster for my HK45. You can't see it print under an oxford shirt.

Judging by those pictures, it definately looks like the Raven holds the gun closer to the body than the Comp-Tac. I think I'm going to try out the Raven. I'll post up pics when I get it.

The Comp-Tac in the picture is a paddle holster. For OWB I have yet to see a kydex holster, including the Raven, beat a leather holster for holding the pistol close in. I don't do IWB so cannot comment on that.

I was suprised and disappointed to read that you were not happy with the performance of our belt loops, since most customers rave about how tight to the body our holsters ride in OWB configuration.

That said, a person's body type and carry position DO play a part in how closely the weapon rides to the body. We strive to make sure each customer is completely satisfied with their purchase. Since our belt mounting options are modular, we can easily make a custom set of belt loops for you --at no charge-- to make the holster fit tighter to your body. I am 100% confident that I can make the Phantom ride closer to your body than any holster you have, Kydex or leather.

If you PM me here or email me a picture of you wearing the holster along with your contact and shipping information, I will get a replacement set of loops to you ASAP. The picture will help us determine what modifications we need to make to the replacement loops. If you have a leather holster which you feel rides closer, send me a picture of you wearing that as well.

At the end of the day, if we can't make it work for you, I will be happy to refund your money.
