I am thinking that people would still pay double that for real H&K.
Is that your prediction for his availability?

NOBODY wanted to buy these barrels in the necessary qty when B&T reached out to their dealers. It wasn't until months later that HKParts agreed to purchase AND PRE-PAY for 500+ barrels with of course the condition that they have the exclusive. The fact is that the community would not have these barrels otherwise.

As a community of HK fans were always paying more for less and then find ways to justify why it's a good deal. I just don't get it.
Our OEM terms AND pricing for these barrels was negotiated with B&T, not HKParts. We are passing the savings directly to our dealers to help keep the premium low and bring more value to our firearms lineup. In fact, I believe there will be less than a $150 increase in the retail price of our firearms. I can assure you that we are doing everything possible to either lower prices or add more value.

At a minimum. 5 years mandatory on the firearm charge and then whatever he gets on the 5 counts of tax evasion.....who knows, maybe a bit more. Federal time you have to do 90% of it, there is no possibility of early release.

I think he is saying he is sending the pistol off to be replaced due to defect. I'm guessing it is one of the ones where the sheet metal was stamped through. It is a cosmetic issue but after paying a good bit for the gun and having over a grand into the new barrel, install, and paddle mag release(if he going to have one installed) I'd want them to replace it first as well. It isn't like this is a cheap gun.

OK, but, you still have a B&T barrel for the new one and what will be the cost of the installation of it as well as who will you be having press it into the trunion for you? I'm looking for the price of the install. $399 for the barrel + $500 install? Not everyone is set up or capable of doing that work

MM quoted me $300 for the install. If you use his barrel, you get the barrel for free -- total cost still $300.

Yes, and his barrels look quite nice and that price is right, but who are these guys going to use for their B&Ts and that cost of install by who?
Right now, I am considering MMs.
