    Well the gun has an opening bid on it.
    And there are plenty of P7's that were engraved with a US import mark that never left Germany. There is a Police trade in on GB that has HKI Columbus GA that was just imported from Germany.

    I know it caught a bid... I mentioned that.
    My comments regarding the import markings, are that it was improperly marked. And that the buyer is getting a Frankengun that resulted from the incorrect import markings. To me, it has less value than the correct version or the prototype examples.

    To me the engraving ruin the gun oh well.

    Does anyone recognize the import engraving on the bottom of the mag well? I make out "Simpson LTD............" Can't tell what the last part says.

    Agreed, without the pedigree it is not as valuable. But there are plenty of people with fat portfolios that would love a BBQ gun. not my cup of tea.
