    I didn't even realize any of these made it out into the wild. Crazy price, but i'm sure some high-end collector will pick them up.

    Agreed. If it was a Title 1 item, that would be one thing, I sell rare H&K pistols all the time. But an NFA item, especially something requiring a demo letter for guns no agency legitimately wants a demo on, different animal. IMHO the only customer that can take possession of these without creating potential legal exposure for themselves is a museum, and museums don't put anyone's kids through college to obtain items, usually they are looking for donations. Now if the seller can get such an organization to write them a tax deductible receipt and transfer on a Form 5......but that's not the payday the seller or their client obviously envisioned.
