    I can tell you how to fix the matching issue. Spray the lower in a light coat of duracoat clear satin. Mine matches perfectly now.

    Did you spay is before or after the engraving? Also did you color fill the engraving or leave it “in the white”?

    I did the engraving first, then sprayed the clear over it. No, the engraving isn’t color filled, it is simply the setting from the laser that leaves it white.

    I put together some pictures of the BRN-4 lower next to the MR556, THe BROWNELLS 416 upper kit BE date code and an older 416 AG date code. Im not super experienced with being able to point out differences so i will dump these pictures here and let you guys use them for reference.
