    I saw that that too, but it stated "Light is missing silver thumb screw on the front as seen in the photos" and wasn't sure if you could replace that.

    Too bad it doesn't have some type of external mount... I'd buy it just for that so next time someone spends 10 years looking for one I can save the day.... TONY!

    That screw has two functions. Both are secondary to the function of the LAM. it is there as an adjustment tool to zero the laser and light beams. It also functions as a retainer for the various pattern generators available. Those laser pattern generators are useless for civilian LAMs unless you swap the generator lenses as I did in my thread posted in the reference library. If I needed a LAM, I'd ignore that the adjuster tool is missing and buy that one cheap. You can use an Allen wrench just as well.

    Well I tried to find the pattern generator lense swap thread I made in the reference library, but it must have gotten moved or nuked. So no link.
