Been wanting a P30 for quite some time, so took the plunge tonight; thanks for the link.

Those will not be covered by HK warranty. Just something to think about.
If it's HK I want it.

Anyone dealt with Classic Firearms before? Their ratings are less than stellar. Lots of BBB and Yelp complaints.

Why wouldn't these be covered by HK warranty? I didn't see any disclaimer on the vendor's website. Very curious . . .

Because they were not imported by H&K USA (you will see import mark stamped on the rail in the 1st photo "RGUNS..."). There was another thread about these same P30 and someone from HK USA customer service confirmed that it would not have the warranty.

If I wanted a grey one I'd get one of these and not worry about the warranty. If you don't care, get one that is covered by HK without a doubt. Resale on these will be crap if that matters to you. HK imported grey P30's also.

I bought this same gun from classic.
Yes, they are a bit sleazy, and fat Bien is leading the slime, but my transaction went well.
Obviously, I cannot guarantee that same will repeat for anyone else. I could have been lucky.
The gun is very smooth - smoother than my P30 in 40S&W. I could have been lucky again.
I like the color very much, but that is subjective. Also FWIW I read these guns being called "blue", but they are indeed grey.
I like the safety lever, but while that has some rationale, it is still subjective.

However, let us take a step back and count to ten. It is an HK P30 for $499. 'nough said!
If you have half a large and change free, go for it.
