Someone paid $8,000 for that gun. Man I can think of a rifle and some handguns I can buy with that and Ammo.

Now I definitely don’t feel bad for paying what I did for the two Match 9’s I own.

If this is indicative of current value, then I’ve almost doubled mine on both.

Two bidders in the last 9 minutes, man that seller must be happy.

I just can’t bring myself to part with even one of them. Maybe when the values go up north of $10K.

Look at HK94 values recently. I wish I would’ve bought every one I could find when I was 18.

No. No it's not. Price gouging occurs when commodities of necessity have their prices jacked up in times of dire need. Gas and water during a hurricane, as an example. There is no price gouging when items of desire (not need) with a limited market find a willing buyer. There are very few of these. When a seller meets a buyer at a given price, it represents capitalism. The cry of "gouging!" usually happens in these situations as a surrogate for being flabbergasted that something so desirable is now selling for even more than was imagined. That happens a LOT with some HK's. I was looking at adding a second set of a particular HK item to my collection. I was stunned at how much it had appreciated since I bought my first set. It's not gouging. It's the market. And I politely passed.

I want one of each bad both 45 a 9. But at GB prices I will never own one I guess. Life goes on.

Maybe one day HK will re-issue (not holding my breath).

The person may follow through at that price. But what happens quite often on GB is that people will get into a bidding war and then a few days later you see the item listed again because of non payment.

    Just my 2 cents worth.
