    A3 receivers that don’t fit A1 barrels/extensions = expensive paper weight!

I have a A3 and it fits a old 416 barrel just fine. I’m not aware of changes until the A5 receivers.

I have the upper and barrel offered by HB (installed by them) so I'm assuming they work together

That’s not an A3 unless he bought unmarked and marked AF.

Those are A1 receiver, not A3. MR223 A3 and HK416 A5 have different barrel pins. I’ve also bought those lowers for $300 new.

Where can I get an hk marked upper receiver with forward assist, ejection port door, and charging handle for $300?

its in transit back to me at the moment. I purchased one of the barrels that first became available and contacted Jason with HB. I asked him if he had the other upper parts available, and he said he did (this was before they were on his site). I bought all the parts from him and he didn't charge me any additional money to assemble everything. Guy was super nice and great to work with (he actually answers the phone and takes the time to chat). Only took him 1 day to do the work and get it back in transit to me. Ill do a write up on it when i get it back and to the range for those interested. I figured there was nothing to loose as good as the pricing is on his barrel. I don't imagine he will have a bunch available. My guess is that this is the parts sell off from the damaged crate up uppers he had come in.
