exactly, it's not a HK 416!! no different than all the people who install a sear in a HK 94/ SP5K/SP89/93/91 and call it a transferable MP5/MP5K/HK33/G3 .

Nah.....I was moving more toward, "why not call it a BRN"....that's the serial anyway.

Yeah, the description is all screwed. The buy-it-now price is also unreasonable, IMO.

But the opening bid price isn't horrible, depending on condition. I have seen new lightning links go for $23-25k. Add in the 416 upper, and the Elcan and you're right at the $30k open.

Asked as part of my brownells thread when the other thread on this rifle was up. But any legitimacy to the claim that these (brownell/zib kits) are Dutch overruns?

Granted the rest of the posting is baloney so more than likely that part is as well.

I think we did as I recall mentioning that I have dealt with these idiots before and would caution anyone interested in also dealing with them. At least the LL is from a reputable maker.

At least my MP5 --> HK94 receiver with mods (DLO box, full auto bolt and SEF trigger group) was made by HK. Almost everything in this gun was NOT made by HK!
