Do these have to go through an FFL? doesn't seem like it qualifies as a firearm.

You know, this is a fake one isn't it? Someone said the fake ones have a pic rail.

Yeah, it seems to be a fake. This thing now is worhless. To me anyway.

If I recall correctly the fake ones also used phillip head screws.

    No FFL needed.

Has an ARMS Mount, but the case looks to be 'Made in Germany'; according to the second picture... Who was cloning these? They sure went out of there way to ensure ejected brass will put some kisses on your MP5K's paint job. All this for about 2.5 seconds of pray-n-spray; then have to fumble around to open this thing up to reload or dink with the ARMS mount release. I think this would look great with the side cover removed and (say) an airsoft MP5K installed; hanging off the wall in the man cave...

Todd Bailey bought a bunch of the German made briefcases, which are still in production, BTW, and 'cloned' the hardware that HK made to adapt the plastic briefcase to a gun case. They are not badly done, and are functional, the problem is that people who don't know the difference pay 'full HK collector price', when they should be paying 'Todd Bailey clone price'.

No, but if you do put an SP5K or other MP5K Pistol clone inside of it, it will become an AOW and is subject to the NFA.
