If clear baggies are the norm now, I bet many wished that they had saved the HK baggies!!!

I think my SP5 carboard box is still in the garage. Thank God the recycle center is closed due to Covid 19 or it would be gone by now...

Keeping the box (and all accessories) will help in resale value, if that ever happens!!!

Imagine buying a new car direct from the dealership, then find the tire tread is at 75% or less.
    That was not cool!!!

Small details I suppose, but I prefer to have the white label w/ clear printed part #s and descriptions. I bought some parts from the web shop recently and was disappointed to find hand written numbers on plain plastic baggies. Just leaves more room for error and makes you wonder why they are being so damn cheap. I mean US-made HK45s with NO markings on the slides? C'mon now, H&K USA, you're better than this!

Ok, I won't be selling it. It will be an SBR and I have daughters and sons-in-law in my trust and as beneficiaries. So hopefully it will stay in the family for a long time. But I'm sure a sale day will come eventually, lol.

The JF mag well kit has always come in a clear (but thick) plastic bag like what you received. The LEM and Match Trigger Kits are the same way. Having said that, all the springs, HK45C extended mag releases, Match sear springs that I bought 2 yrs ago from the HKWebshop, each came in their own HK branded little baggies.

GuntherRommel, AGG and Domino like this.

Wise course of action--- I would still speciffically bequeath certain firearms to family members that have the same passion!!!

The clear plastic is how they have shipped out parts for a while now to everyday customers like us. I believe you have to specifically request commercial packaging if you want it because I know they still use it when shipping items to dealers.
