Default Buyers Beware Clear Frame P2000

Clearly (pun intended) cobbled together, wrong slide from a US gun and no pictures with the magazine installed, likely because it’s a US mag and doesn’t fit. Seller is misrepresenting and pricing it as a factory gray room gun.

Seller is a member here, maybe he will comment. Says that it was fired. Can you even use a clear frame for anything other than presentation?

Methinks some one saw this sale......

Actually a real armorer's training model with a serial number and everything though. All original in the "kraft" cardboard box H&K uses for Government contract deliveries.

Listen, this was always going to happen after Augustine got his hands on all those clear/red/blue frames and started selling them through Haslam. (also a member here) These were frames never used for their intended purposes by H&K and sold that way by mistake, by the time the right people realized what had been done it was too late to un-ring that bell. Not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself, without that happening we wouldn't have the real armorer's guns. And the other stuff can be decorative. But original? Like one with a serial number, original gun, left the factory that way? Nope.

Anything ever pieced together with this stuff will never be original. Interesting to the collector, sure, but not $11K interesting. (Remember that? LOL. What a soupstorm that was....) And it's been discussed that you never want to actually fire these clear frames. Looks like someone finally found a way to play Russian Roulette with an auto pistol.....

I would think that the GB auction (P2000), in the original post, would have the GPM frame, unless it is a later (U.S.) edition!!!

I've done business with the seller, and would not hesitate to conduct business with him in the future.....and yes, he's a member here.

As for the frame? Meh......not my cup of tea.

    Cheers!!!!!!

Awesome that your experience was positive, but this appears to be a clear (pun intended) and dangerous misrepresentation of what he's selling.

Take what is likely an AF date code frame... source an AG date code used pistol... swap all parts to the clear frame, and advertise as "In great condition. Fired very little.". He implies that it is original.
The gun was never fired in the current configuration... he just put it together. Not to mention that it shouldn't be fired in it's current configuration, because it isn't safe!!

Sure looks neat though, I would be half tempted to shoot it. Whats the worst that could happen? Frame shatters in your hand, barrel to the chin
