Default SB Tactical HKPDW Brace for under $210

No affiliation. Pretty good price considering MSRP is $329. I ordered one yesterday.

Website says $263.99, but it goes to $187.85 once you add it to the cart. Shipping for me was $19.99 insured. So $207.84 total.

Not bad, there are places that get it to ~190 shipped if so inclined, 1/2 way to getting a factory MP5 mag!

Their uninsured shipping is definitely cheaper. Insured is a few dollars more than the first place I found. $210 insured for my address. I like to do the insurance, as I’ve had issues before. Another great option though.

Is this brace a drop and fit, or do you have to cut some of the buffer out before installing?

I am told by many it's a direct fit, BUT (no pun intended) I have heard of some having to use some force to get it on and aligned with the pin. Maybe someone with experience here can comment. I need to order one of these too.

Requires modification if going on SP5. 1. Removal of lower left screw (there are 4 and brace does come with required allen wrench- removal does not affect function or tightness of mount) 2. Very slight pencil-eraser size divot required in lower left portion of buffer (of SB stock) to facilitate the block that is welded in SP5 to prevent full-auto use (I am perfectionist so I used a $6 dremel to create a perfect half-circle; can also be accomplished with Exacto knife if careful). Very happy with mine, looks much nicer than the side-folding SB option.

Well thank you for this. I definitely don't have the skill set to put this on my SP5 :-( You lose me at divot!
