Default KG Stainless slide USP45 on GB

Yes, I know Chris is a member of our forum and he SHOULD be selling this gun here, but looks like Keystone Arms has driven sales away from this forum to GB in part for fear of them just buying stuff here and re-selling on GB.

Anyway, KG date code is not more rare than other stainless USPs but it's the only year with the very flat, matte gray finish. I stuck a picture below to give you a sense of how the KG compares to other stainless years. KG is my favorite of the stainless finishes.

KH is my fav year, SS, blued, or ported,COMPACT OR FULL SIZE, I LOVE ALL KH date coded USP pistols.

It IS HK backwards after all. And the year I started gunsmithing school. All good reasons, FOR ME.

KG sheen is also different between calibers , the 40 is much brighter

    I thought 40 was dead @GuntherRommel ?

Thanks - I actually didn't know about the caliber difference. I will say my 9mm KG is closer to the 45 than the 40.

I am waiting for a new batch of these one day, but I can admire these all day long :-) However per your picture above, @omega21 , the one on GB doesn't appear to be matte in color like your comparison. I didn't even know this existed and now I like them both! I am more in love with the look of the KK model in your photo, but who am I to discriminate?

@timaquan replied to your PM. Also, I would not store that gun like you have pictured. First you risk scratching the slide and devaluing it. Second that foam retains moisture and might increase your chance of rust. Nice gun!

will change the storage method. its always in the AC. Closer look at the date code and finish.Second pic is just for eye candy. 1981 nickel python, came with unfired 8" barrel.
