Not to bring up an old topic but I have an IK date coded 94 to go with my IK date coded SP89 both turned into MP5 and MP5 respectively. Was curious how rare the IK 1989 94's are? Mine did have the castle nut rear sight but looked new when I got it.

You know that you could have PM'ed me!!!
Based on my data, I have seen these serial numbers (43-15321 through 43-15716)--- mostly DOC rifles--- rare, but not as rare as the KB's, especially the few hundred that were not DOC.

You should put all this information into a book.

They were not all 1991 made, I have 2, and I think one is older.

We had 40+ of them, all were full of brass shavings, most looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. I hand picked 2 for myself and a few for some of my land cruiser buddies. At $2200 each.....should have bought more.

And now 2017, these guns can be bought in CT due to the fact they are pre '94 :) Gotta love CT!

Yeah. I worked in a buddy's gun shop back when the CA DOC 94s hit the market. I could have purchased as many as I wanted for $1800. I passed because at the time I did not have a sear or registered frame. D'oh, that was stupid.

As I recall, Yoop and I each picked up one of your hand-picked 94s. ;)
    Sparkplugs are irrelevant.
    Plenty of HK's and clones.
