I found some new to me (though they're nearly a year old now) HQ photos of some details of the 433 that may or may not answer some of my and others' questions.

I have to say that esthetically I’m not a huge fan of what looks to me to be the exaggerated A-frame angles of the magwell and the pistol grip.

I'm actually still wondering how multi-caliber capable the 433 is? I know that HK have hinted at a 7.62mm NATO/.308 Win variant, and TFB posted back in 2017 their thoughts that the rifle may've been engineered for .308 from the start. They used the distance from the take down pin to the pivot point on the lower (I myself use the distance from the mag well leading edge to the pivot point), and it seems that the receiver is longer and maybe wider than it needs to be for 5.56mm.

However, HK have only shown the 5.56mm version as of now.

It looks like we'll be waiting for new and photos of anything HK for a while. Enforce Tac and IWA have been postponed due to Corona Virus concerns.

It kind of resembles a Masada/ACR. Not that it is anything like that.

Nowadays because of the modular craze, most new rifles look basically like a cross between a SCAR and an ACR. Or maybe even if you prefer a non-bullpup version of the AUG or a much modernized, metal receiver version of the G36.

Sorry for posting like a mindless A-hole here, but I was digging though this thread last night and I saw some of the specs that the late Jim Schatz had for the early HK433. Namely, that, like the FN SCAR, the 433 uses an extruded aluminum upper. Is it know if on the more recent version if the upper is still and extrusion or is it forged or maybe even investment cast? I'm asking mostly because it seems like the 433's receiver has a lot more machining done to it than the SCAR's.

That is quite a beauty. I have at least one component pictured, the tan magazine pictured below on the far right. (Not to be confused with the RAL8000 one, which I have seen in other HK433s)
