Felt like sharing a photo of the 437 in full auto (note the position of the selector switch):

And I do have a question about the handguard interface. There seems to a version with a push pin (as on the 433s we've seen so far), and one with a screw. Is the part that attaches to the upper to allow this easily changed, and if so, how?

New to me photo of the 433/437 line up from Eurosatory:

That lug that holds the screw that attaches the handgaurd to the upper doesn't look comfortable to hold, especially with that short handguard. If this is a mounting option going forward, I hope that HK develops a QD slim version like on the 416.

HK433 family has it's first official customer:

Good news! Hope some more will follow soon!

Some new details on the HK437 order:

*Order may be for over 1600 total weapons.

*Includes 433s modified to fire simunition for training purposes.

*HK got more consideration given the modularity of the 433/437/231 family

Also, if you'd like, I can start posting these things into individual threads, or just keep them here.

Civilian one confirmed (and half life 3)!
No.

There is a difference between "semi auto only" and "civilian" gun.

In general, all automatic rifles - that includes both semi automatic and fully automatic guns - are deemed "weapons of war" in Germany (see Anlage KrWaffKontrG - Einzelnorm No. 29 c) and d) ) except for certain historic weapons that are exempt.

Semiautomatic rifles specifically designed and constructed as "hunting or sporting rifles" are also exempt.

A HK433 with a semi only trigger pack is still a "weapon of war".
A potential semi only MR443 is not (that design has to include provisions that the gun cannot be easily converted to fire fully automatic, e.g. just by swapping the trigger pack).

This is one of the reasons that the civilian FN SCAR versions aren't available in Germany as FN won't provide statement and proof, that the FN was "specifically designed and constructed as a hunting or sporting rifle".
There has been a dealer that lost his license due to importing a 16S and a 17S, thinking that it would be a "civilian" rifle here. And others are selling Tavor X95s thinking that they are civilian guns due to being semi automatic and it must be okay as they are sold in other countries (Austria e.g.). Those are ticking time bombs...

Sellers and buyers may get visits some day, as they sometimes openly trade that stuff:
