    No, they just can't replace their handguard with one that will accept a bipod. So any slim handguard, aftermarket metal or SAR8-style modified wide guard would work. That is, if they couldn't find an SR9 take off handguard.

    It would take 10 minutes to make an HK wide handguard unable to accept a bipod via a number of means.

    Thanks. What is a good source for a black slim German handguard with heat shield that is in very good + condition?

    Thanks for pulling that up. So many people have called BS when I've posted the "no bipod" when it comes to SR9s.

    It has been so long since I had to squish a 922(r) discussion. 922(r) is a making/assembling offense. It is not a possession offense. So if you "bought it that way" there is no offense. You "bought it that way."
