Default Can you take replacement body of PSG1 5rd mag, part off normal mag( g3) and work?

HK 5rd Unfinished Magazine Body for G3 PSG1 MSG90, Heckler and Koch Part Number 206718, HKK-206718, RTG Parts

I was wondering if take a G3 mag apart use all the the parts, and cut down spring and put liner in 5rd mag. Also are the floor plate different??

Yes , you can but a new PSG1 mag(5rd) for 89$ from RTG parts.

    Thanks

Don't know the answer, never tried to mix steel and aluminum mag parts. Unfinished may not necessarily mean all the metal work is finished.

I don't have an answer, but I'm about to find out. I see no reason why the follower and floor plate would be any different. I believe it's just cutting and shaping the spring.

Bingo! Look at the lower portion on the mag body. More work required -

Cut up top of steel mag, place over mag housing from RTG part. tack weld together. This is possible.

Can some one post a picture of PSG1 normal mag(5rd) with out the floor plate?

Why not just cut down a 20rd mag? A bit of bending on the bottom and be done.
