Default loose magazine in my C93

the mag wobbles both forwards/backwards and sided to side when locked in place in my C93. is this normal or is the mag well too big? this happens with mags made by different makers. is there a good way to tighten that up? thx.

Who makes the magazine that you have? I find 25-30 round HK made mags fir fairly tight in C93's.

The 40 round aluminum mags tend to fit a little loose. 30 round steel mags should have a little less play.

The MKE polymer mags also tend to fit a little tighter if you are looking for a better fit. My experience is they are 100% reliable.

I'm in California so my magazine options are pretty limited. my rifle came with those aluminum 40 rounders that Century provided with the C93s (that were blocked to 10 rounds). those fit loose and I heard that promags fit tight so I bought some of those, still loose. the mags do however securely lock in place.

Both the aluminum 40 round and Promags fit the same way in my C93. All lock in place, feed and function just fine. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you're not experiencing mag-related malfunctions.
