Well they don't make "new" .40 or 10's anymore...so that's a stretch..
I took that to mean "newly built". That's the only way a German receiver MP5-40 or -10 could be considered "fairly new". Depending on who built it, it may have been considerably chopped and grafted when the -40 sections were welded to the 94 sections. Urbach would graft the magazine well and front half of the ejection port and I think part of the spine to sections of the 94 receiver. He showed me one time when I was at his shop. His are the only ones I've ever seen before that were made. The only other 3 or 4 I've shot were factory samples.
