    Default Question on CA laws

Someone told me that my H&K 911 is not on the ban list in CA. He offer me more than want the gun is worth. I don't have any plans to sell the rifle just want to know if that's true.

    thanks

    Here is the list
    https://oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/a...ms/awguide.pdf

The HK 41 and HK43 are also not on the list.

But it would have to be configured Featureless or Fixed mag under the new laws.

Yep to the above .. It is not on the list

Easy way to do it would be like this https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/Kyde...ING-p18916.htm just get something like that ( many people use clear Kydex so does not look so bad ) make sure it does not have flash hidder or folding stock and your good to go ...And if you happened to get some 20 round mags the last time they liffted the ban in CA they can be used with that set up ..Not a lawyer though

The only thing to note is this gun a papered gun in CA ie did you at some point paper it as a AW etc either in the 2000s or ?

This can be used to make it legal with the current laws you get to keep the pistol grip and flash hider

    https://franklinarmory.com/franklin-...e-hk-platform/

And it must be configured, featureless or fixed mag prior to shipping it to a Calif. FFL
Some will accept it with the upper & lower detached as is, but not many.

The ban list was the first ban in 1989
Then came the features ban in 2000
In 2017 it was the bullet button ban....

Must be featureless or no dice!

Other options are the hk sr9 and sr9t

oh I'm keeping my 911 even after that crazy offer. For one I like it and the history behind them. H&K or who ever came up with the idea to just stamp a 1 behind the 91 and it past customs. Also I was told my the original owner that the first hundred that past custom just had the 1 stamped on it. He said the about 100 when thru before custom catch on and have them add the stock and the fake suppressor. So I feel lucky own it.
