    Yes you can use them.
    Its not very comfortable but if **** hits the fan it would work great.

    The point with this stock however is to shoot with Optics or higher irons, that is changing the gun completely

    I've always loved your products. The Spuhr mount on my MR762 is a work of art and is absolutely the nicest scope mount I've ever used. Congrats on the contract - well deserved!

    If I am understanding the other article that TFB did, and having looked at close shots of the stock -- I believe the civilian version attaches the cheek piece with a screw.

    The Portuguese upgrade parts use a snap on/off method which is not publicly available.

    Just my guess, maybe @Spuhr will confirm.

    Sickness, that is correct but the snapon will be offered to civilians as well.

    Its just a simple detent screw that replaces the original screw

    As other have said nice upgrade. I do wonder how they are going to support spares for the G3’s, didn’t Portugal sell off it’s production line and spare parts years ago?

    As far as I understand PTR are the former portuguese productionline.
    I guess they have sufficient, armys was so much bigger in the past

    Spuhr, Can you please reveal when the screw detente for quick removal of the cheek piece will be available to the civilian market?

    Dropped 200ft onto steel according to other article.
    Hmm, lucky for the Navy types the same testing is not required for the people behind the gun...
