Default HK-93 trigger group - good deal?

I came across this on Brownells.

Seems like a PSG trigger group with a 93 ejector for around $400. If I'm not mistaken, cannot the ejector be swapped out to a 91 type and add a psg-1 selector and be all set?

Any info would be be much appreciated.

That is what it looks like to me also.

Yes you can swap out the ejector for a 91 ejector.

I cross checked the part number and it came back as a HK 93 PSG1 pack.

So you will need the shoe and selector for it also.

I have not seen them at this price in about 5 or 6 years.

CDNN had them for 399.00 a long time back.

Yes, good price. I ordered one so it will be interesting to see if that what actually shows up! I bought a brand new psg1 grip years ago for a steal. I have the rest of the parts to complete the lower. The trigger pack was always the problem with high prices. This is a horrible addiction! Damn internet!

Do the math on the shoe, the selector, and the ejector. And the fact that it has to go in a metal housing. Plus shipping.

If I did not already have a PSG1 trigger, I would consider it. Not bad.

It is a good deal, particularly with an additional $35 off and free Edge shipping. I just bought another.

BTW, it can also go into a plastic housing so long as not ambi, you just need to use a harder-to-find MSG90 selector.

I'd be happy to trade you an excellent condition HK G3/91 ejector for that HK33 ejector.

I received the trigger group yesterday. Brand new in HK packaging. mtykim, I'm gonna keep the 93 ejector for another project. Thank you though!

So you will need the shoe and selector for it also.
But you can use a standard selector switch, correct?

Edit: After some searching I believe the answer is no

I also got mine and indeed NIW, what a good deal!

Go to RTG Parts for the selector.

Correct. The PSG1 selector is different from the MSG90, and the ordinary G3 selector.
    Own: HK91, SR9, SP5k, G36k, HK416, P30L, 2x P8, 2x P8A1, USP9
Future: Done, until HK comes out with something new & nifty. Might start building an FNH collection.
