I'd buy that for ~$1000 shipped. No more than that. I'm sure this was done for some high speed low drag type that just wanted an optic and hated AR15s.
There a H&K 911 that's also bubba in GB. It has no thread on the barrel after the cover removed. Make you think what happen.
I’d venture to say that somebody bought that rifle back in the day, $500-$600, and used it for hunting.
I wouldn’t exactly call that a rail, it’s more of a mounting plate, quite honestly it looks like it’s JB welded on. If not that’s a mighty fine TIG weld.
As mentioned unfortunately it’s hard to say what else is buggered up on it.
