Default Comparison between G36 and G36C flash hiders?

Are the flash hiders for the G36 and G36C interchangeable, or do they use different threads?

    Thanks,

G36C has more balanced recoil (0.3 on both sides) and a slightly higher muzzle velocity, as well as a lower vertical recoil. the G36C has clearer iron sights.

So I'm gonna say the G36C, however I can't find the reload times, so in a tight situation the G53 may in fact be better.

    Thanks,
I think they both use 15x1RH thread.

The G36C, K, and E barrels have the same threading.

Like Warbadger says they have the same thread. The K & E models are an inch or so LONGER than the G36C flash hider.
FWIW, don't have a clue what Drp2hrd is talking about. The shorter barrel G36C has a slightly LOWER muzzle velocity and a heck of a lot more noise. Which to me seemed to translate in to a bit more "felt" recoil and muzzle rise...although it is only a 5.56mm weapon, how much recoil does that cartridge really have?
The sights are the same on the G36C, K & E models. The only reason I could see the "C" model being "clearer" is because the front sight is closer to you eye.
