IDK - There isn't much of a claim considering it is an HK factory part:-P

Listen up fellas. This is 2019.

The German-born magazine identifies as an American made magazine.

It says it’s a clip, not a magazine.

I messaged the seller on GunBroker, and basically politely told him they are German.

    This was his response:

"I made and tested (hammer, car, pellet gun) these myself and the quality is good. Probably not battle field good like factory made ones but certainly good enough for the range and 922(r) compliance. There are subtle differences but your instincts are correct if you are just looking at the bottom line. Maybe I should do more of that in the future. Thanks for the compliment and you could always buy one and send it back if you are not convinced.

    Matt"

He suggested I buy one, marketing genius!

Not sure what his bit on "...your instincts are correct..." is about but perhaps he is subtly telling me they are fraudulently marked German mags, which we all know to be the case.

Am I to assume he meant: hit it with a hammer, ran over them with a car, and shot them with a pellet gun?! If he actually did those things that is messed up. If he didn’t do those things, but thought that saying he did those things would convince someone, then that is also equally as messed up.

Agree 100%....he's clearly stamping his own sh$t…..got to love the "A" on that....LOL....great find though.

    So FYI.....steer clear.

Why would I buy a $35 - $40 Hk magazine, stamp it, them sell on GB for $35 with free shipping? You are thinking too much. It's a range mag, done convincingly it appears, for the fun of it. Holy cow, this is my first post on HkPro. Sweet.

It passed hitting the magazine feed lips with a hammer. It failed running over it with my car and being shot with a pellet gun after multiple hits. I was going to set it on fire but could not find any reference to anyone doing this for a magazine torture test. And that's my second post.
