Did HK ever sell a 556 configured PSG1 trigger pack? I have a 0/1 pack that has the 556 ejector and the short tang on the rear. It does not look modified from a 762 housing??

I remember a vendor hkparts or RTG selling these NIB without the trigger shoe about 5-6 years ago, so yes they were a thing

This was just one such type of trigger group offered:

Future: HK243? Assuming HK grants my wish.

CDNN had them for $399.00 shipped.

So yes someone could have bought one and the grip.

Then installed it on a HK93.

You just add the 93 ejector. You can switch back to the 91 and use the 93 trigger housing too. I will be listing this set after the first of the year with the rest of my HK spares..
