Any help with identifying this magazine would be appreciated. My gut tells me it is just an average or below average aftermarket magazine and I'll get rid of it, but if it is a collectors item then I want to keep it.

Looks like one of the old Max Capacity mags, 40 rounders from the late 80's, Funny I have a couple of there T shirts that I still use to wrap guns in the safe.

I had LIQ marked magazines for my Valmet M-76. Never had an issue with them, but I'd only trust my life with a factory magazine. I think the only collector value would be to those who collect items from a certain era. "When I bought my HK94 new back in the 80's, these magazines were available... You never see them now/Company out of business" type of item.

The ones I've seen had better welds.

Still no luck I identifying this magazine. Some one suggested it might be an Asian made, but I cannot find any info on Asian produced 38 or 40 round magazines. I guess I'll toss it back in my pile for now.
