Default The nightmare of red dot MP5 installation continues

I am about ready to chuck it all. Finally found a B&T low mount, and the screws and mount feet are a giant hassle to install on the gun. I still don't have it on. It co-witnesses perfectly with my T2. Seems as if the screws are a bit too short.

Anyone else have similar issues? :(

I know that you're the OG of the pro and next level MP5 guy and it's ridiculous for a novice like myself to give you advice but...have you tried this mount?

I have installed three of these without any issues with screws being too short. While they are a bit of a pain, I did not struggle too much. Main issue was just bigger fingers and tiny parts. Once on, these are nice and do co-witness.

I got it done. Just venting prematurely. Worked an 18 hour day with civil disorder, and kinda lacking sleep. :)

SP5 and my bad decision to try installation with insufficient sleep. All good now.

I'm glad you got it worked out Tom.... We've been running on zero sleep over here too....

I too am a fan of the mount @bastardsonofelvis recommended, but is not the direction you wanted to go.

    take care,

That got me the other day. All day doing team stuff then I tried to put a pump / impeller back together with a head lamp on. It did not work out until i got some sleep and realized a i put a simple piece in backwards. Be safe out there
