    Default MP5 40 Case Ejection issues

    I noticed lately when I manually cycle it, the round is barely ejected more than a foot away.

    But in normal firing operations, LO impulse locking piece, standard charge 40 fmj 165 gr, it flings it over 6 yards away!

    Is this normal?

    Are you cycling the BCG at the same velocity as the ammo?
    I sold my HK's and bought a whole bunch of Century C93s. The best rifles on the planet bar none. I love the C93 pistols with the 12 o' clock slot!

    Well, obviously I don't have the ability to manually cycle it that fast.

    May need meth, but then again, I never touched drugs, so that's not happening.

    In all curiosity though, even if I slowly and weakly ,manually cycle a 9mm MP5, it ejects it a good meter.

    If I did that to the 40, the round sometimes doesn't even make it out.

    How old is the extractor spring? Mine was having some issues and the new spring fixed all my FTE issues...

    @Cjude I'm not too sure.

    Taking the bolt head out and putting a round in there clips in nice and snug, not super tight but not loose either.

    Most guns in general, from personal experience, eject about the same distance when firing a round and when I, manually cycle it. I, not saying its fact and I'm sure there are exceptions but this MP5 40 is really odd
