Default HK MP5/HK53 Surefire tri-rail Hand guards

Does anyone know if the Surefire tri-rail hand guards will work with the KAC RDS mount? I believe the KAC rail covers will fit on the Surefire hand guard so the KAC RDS mount should as well. Trying to figure out a less destructive setup for my HK53 instead of running the KAC hand guard and a claw mount for a red dot. Dont know if they fit together (KAC & Surefire, the rail covers will fit) but I have always used B&T mounts, they do not mare the finish and there around 100 bucks.

How would you attach the RDS to the SF? And why not run the KAC Rail and mount together? Unless I am missing something...........

You would need to tap holes into the Surefire handgaurd in order to mount the Knights rail riser. There are no pre drilled holes as the previous poster pointed out.

Not enough material on the SF those are threaded holes on the KAC

Thanks everyone, especially caf82313. Totally missed the lack of holes on the SF hand guard since I don't have one available to finger f#ck. Back to the drawing board.

I can just see a big blob of JBweld slapped on there to drill and tap...
or a little stainless steel hardware store nut superglued in place or embedded in a metal filled epoxy.

Not recommending it mind you, but I've probably seen someone do something very close to it.
