    Default SR9T bipod?

I just won a gunbroker auction for a really nice SR9T. I want a bipod for it. Will the standard HK bipod work? Anything special I will need to attach it?

Here’s the interesting thing. Someone posted years ago that bipods were not legal on these post ban guns. I don’t have their specific references but it added up when you consider that HK replaced the forearm with a model that does not have a bipod mount and Springfield Armory kept the HK like forearm on their version of the 91, but removed the bipod attachment piece. Otherwise, why on earth would SA go to all the trouble to remove the metal bipod mount on the forearm? Good research project for a shyster?

There was nothing in the AWB that made bipods illegal as far as I can recall.

I take it that I may need to replace the fore end? Will a standard HK91 fore end fit?

I believe the forearm pictured will accept a standard HK bipod easily.

    If it's a G41 bipod as that's a G41 forearm

Never said it was part of the AWB.

If you re referring to 922r:

    1. 922r only applies to importation and manufacturing. If you buy a 922r-compliant rifle you can then modify it as you see fit.

    2. If the above is in any way incorrect IDGAF anyways :)
