    Default QUESTION ABOUT G3

I am thinking about building a G3 and had a few questions for you guys. I am looking to do an iranian G3 clone, trying to find the iranian lower and rear drum sight at the moment. My question is were there ever any issued with retractable stock? Im guessing that would be the G3A4. Ill be using the green forend and grip. I want to build this G3 "historically correct", thats why im asking you guys here. This is the only picture I could find of a g3 with retractable stock in iraq.

Several months ago there was a picture post of a G3 which was of foreign nature- can't remember now if it was Saudi, Iraqi or Iranian. It had the A2 stock. It was posted over in the HKPRO Members Gallery. You may try to do a search.

    Yes, that's it.

The bayonet looks like it might be of Turkish origin. If you find a source of G3 bayonets from any of the Far East countries please let us know.
