    I'm not sure what they were in 2011, but they were low to mid-20s in mid-2015 (though there were always outliers). So I would think they would have been cheaper in 2011, especially only a few years after the 08 crash.

    Though, now that I'm thinking about it, did the value really double in those 4 years, or was the original proposed deal a steal even then? I mean today, I would trade my HK21 (and the rest of my sear hosts) for another sear in a heartbeat, if I could get over the guilt of taking someone to the cleaners that badly.

    I mean it’s all relative. If that trader bought say 5 sears in 1990 for $300 each, then in 2011 wanted an even trade on a 10-12k gun then he did well hahah.

    As for taking someone to the cleaners that depends on intent, I’d never hook up someone who’s going to flip it but say my Mac I paid 2800 for in 2011. I might sell that for cheap to someone I know will keep it.
