This. The risk is who you get to do it.

Murray would rotate the BBL and re-drill to avoid above issue.

TSC Machine http://www.tscmachine.com did my barrel and is an advocate for using the factory-installed barrel absent unusual circumstances . 9mm is a relatively low pressure round and normally 94s don't have high round counts or any full auto fire. No need to pull or replace a barrel with a 50k round life when it is essentially like new. Mike at TSC can easily and safely cut your barrel on the gun and finish it with either a threaded or unthreaded 3 lug. You can also pick the thread pitch.

I will be in a similar boat next week when mine arrives. I had considered cutting/replacing and remarking, paddle mag . What about any other upgrades. Like (F) upgrades

Depends on what you were hoping to achieve. Going full F will be pricy if you do it the whole way and don't already have the parts. You have a sear/pack or is the gun running in semi only?

Unless you really want to spend the money and go full F (especially for shooting hot loads), then I would do something like a Navy configuration.
