Does your can thread on until a positive stop? How much of a gap is there between the front of the slide and the back of the booster? Mine is almost touching.

KAC must have made a run of them, my dealer got two and sold me one although he might be regretting it since they were consecutive serial numbers. Mine is a month in after check cashed at ATF.

Mine almost touches. Id guestimate about .030" gap.
Its a Mark 23 not MARK 23 and older KAC can.
I only get about 3 threads (turns) secure.

Mine is the same. The stainless cylindrical portion of the booster nearly touches the front of the slide. I get three full rotations of the suppressor before it bottoms on the threads. It's tight feeling because of the O ring, I suspect. If I reduce the friction of the O ring, the booster threads easier. I think you are good to go.
