^^^ just keep your eye out for a fa carrier...if the opportunity to acquire one cheaply pops up I'd buy it and install it if I were you. Two reasons...
    1. most buyers of that gun in the future would want a fa carrier so plug n play sear host as God intended.
    2. You'll find yourself at the range or around hk guys or dealers at some point and Im sure someone will lend you a pack to shoot in it.

carrier isnt too expensive in the scheme of things. I'd say sell/trade the semi carrier and buy a FA carrier. Or better yet...keep the German semi carrier and buy/install an inexpensive RCM FA carrier. Boom. Done.

rhouston8 - I was thinking since I am already jumping in with both feet that I might as well pick up a FA carrier. I will most likely do that. Anyone want to sell me one for a FAIR price??

    Many thanks!

Have you considered having your semi auto carrier welded up and machined to full auto specs? I'm not sure if Mike does that but there are several smiths that do. Just a thought.

^ agree. That's a great budget friendly avenue that could be taken as well. I thought about that too but to be honest Id just get an RCM carrier and be done w it. Regardless the FA carriers aren't super expensive if I recall.

Scott - I did consider it but I would prefer to grab an original HK full-auto carrier and keep/sell/trade the semi-auto carrier.
