Default Beta CMAG or X91 drumx2

I should have an MM11 coming soon, and am angling to pick up a sear within the next year.

    I've found X91 50rd drums for $203 each, and a Beta drum for $429.

My concern about the Beta drum is that it's plastic. Beta says that it passed the mil rough use test, but I find nothing about a warranty.

Would you opt for a pair of X91 drums over a Beta?

I know the Beta is gonna be heavy, but the MM11 isn't light, and a 21 with a 100+ belt isn't light, so weight isn't the deciding factor, durability and longevity is.

Is the Beta tougher than I think?

I would go with the Beta... Mine have treated me well with no real problems on my G3-K, but you do see a lot of X91s being used with the MM11 as well. Obviously the gun can certainly handle 100rnd dumps.

Yep, I checked on slickguns, got the price from grabagun, logged on to budsgunshop and looked up the drum, then did price match request. I just ordered and the price was $202.85.

The price keeps dropping on grabagun (to 202.70 now). MAybe if we keep clicking their link, we can get them under $200, and price match to Buds.

I used Buds for two reasons- 1, I've bought from them a couple times and they're always efficient, and 2, grabagun won't take me to the shopping cart after clicking add to cart, so I can't see what the shipping charge is.
