It appears that there is a "double duty use" for the mag. Maybe that is why she is smiling.

Gee. I've posted pics of mine more than once over the years.

It is shown in a Swiss Army MP5 manual along with the Swiss "Grande" MP5 suppressor and other goodies.

Well, when I got this stuff nobody was interested in them. I just thought this stuff was cool and unique.

Cute! Germany is going to need more police with how things are turning out over in Europe, unfortunately.

Don't know about elsewise, but the Bundespolizei (that is what she is) in the airports (and this is Frankfurt International) who carry MP5's have guns limited to semi only, even though it's not a 2 position housing. I asked one of the Frankfurt guys and that's the explanation I got.

I've also read frequently over the years that the Brit cops are similarly restrained but IIRC they only have a 2 position housing.

The German police use the gun as a carbine, and actually train for disabling shots. They have a full size accurate outline human silhouette target and will go for 2 in the knee, two in the arm, etc.. The one guy I saw shooting those kinds of drills was pretty good at it. We are of course talking average engagement ranges for scenario's that they could reasonably (and statistically) be expected to deal with, as I recall he wasn't shooting anything over 15m and mostly at 10m. This was with iron sights.
