Default You think you had a bad day at work...

Tried to unload some Federal Surplus MP5's we've had on the books for far to long. I was sure some other agency would pick them up. Nope, my rep showed up today and I went to work. Couple hours, several saw blades and nothing but sadness...

They couldn't be demilled and sold? Man, what a craptastic sight.

Pile was separated into three piles then put into three different dumpsters. At three different locations. Unfortunately it's not my rules and it is what was required by my federal rep...

I always feel sad looking at the destruction of firearms.

I think those photos may give me nightmares! Such a waste.
If "Dirty Harry" had been made in 1996:
"I know what you're thinking: 'Did he fire twelve shots or only eleven?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a HK MARK 23, the only offensive handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?"

You only have to cut the reciever to stay within the law...
ALL of the other parts could have just 'walked off'.

and those surplus parts could have provided quite a bit of income. I see quite a few 4 position packs and those darn things are $750+ in a housing.

    cryin' shame there.

Gotta keep those "weapons of war" off our streets! Was that not why the Dems were doing their childish little "sit in" on the floor of the House?

OMG... WTF... Couldn't they have been cut the right way and at least sold as a parts kit. Dam shame!
