I'm thinking of getting a Mk9K to run on my MPX and HK SP5K when I get one and have it setup with 3 lug. Just hoping someone who may have one can post a pic of how the Gemtech looks on the MP5k setup. I've read lots of good about the tone of this suppressor and won't be happy until I have one! lol
Nice! Do you like that with the Gemtech on or does it seem too big and heavy? I already have an Octane but am leaning to the Gemtech for a dedicated subgun can. Thanks for the pic!
I always hear they have a nice tone compared to other suppressors.
I like the look. It has that fat evil/scary look to it. Pretty sure that this is the largest diameter 9mm 3-lug can ever made. People have discussed before that someone needs to make another large volume can, yet no one has dethroned Gemtech in that department yet.
I like it too! I'm just gonna try to find out how to order one and just get it over with :) I can always run the Octane too since it's setup for 3 lug as well. I've been told they do limited production runs so I'll probably have to get on a list somewhere.
I have an Octane 9 HD, YHM Cobra M2, MK-9K with an Omega 9K on Form 4, pending.
The Mk-9k lives 9n my MP5. With 158gr subs its awesome! The Omega 9k will replace the Octane when it comes back approved.
Is there a noticeable difference between the Octane 9HD and Gemtech with subsonics? Much more pleasant tone is what I've been told...just wanted your opinion.
After talking to member @HkCHUCK who asked if the large diameter can of the B&T TP9 could be fitted with an mp5 3 lug adapter, Tim told me it was a doable modification that might also accomodate a ratcheting setup vs the locking nut setup currently found on theier 3 lug suppressors. So there MIGHT be a new offering in the short fat suppressor vien of the mk9k.

Perfect match for the K gun. Great balance in my opinion. I have said it before, I still prefer it over my Octane 9HD or my new Omega 9K. The pure science of additional volume just can't seem to be outdone by "modern" design features of smaller volume cans. The MK-9K can be completely disassembled as well.
